Helping you manage your life

Working abroad? Or moving to the UK for business or pleasure? Then you'll be pleased to know that we now offer our personal clients a Current Account option. So whatever your need is for an offshore account, Clydesdale Bank International can help you manage your finances effectively from offshore.

Our current accounts will be entirely free until 31/12/07. This includes all debit card transactions and account fees.

Dealing with your day to day banking needs

Working abroad can be stressful at the best of times. But a Clydesdale Bank International Current Account can make you feel a step closer to home. It allows you to check your account, pay those important bills, transfer money - and make the most of your money.

With the Sterling based Current Account, you can get access to the following features:

  • Instant access to your funds
  • Maestro Debit Card allowing you to pay for goods and services around the globe as well as giving you access to ATMs showing the Maestro logo
  • Internet banking to check your balance, pay bills, transfer money between your accounts and send us secure emails
  • Set up Direct Debits on your account to pay regular UK bills, such as insurances, council tax, factors/agents and so on
  • Manage your standing orders and Direct Debits over the internet
  • Pull funds from your UK onshore accounts as required
  • Move money between your Clydesdale Bank International accounts to maximise your return

You can also have a Current Account in a range of other currencies.

Clydesdale Bank International Current Accounts are only available to personal clients. The minimum balance needed to open a Sterling Offshore Current Account is £2,500. This balance should be maintained at all times. Should you fall below the minimum balance, a monthly maintenance fee will be applied to your account, as detailed in the table of charges.
