| How do I input my One Time Password? |
 |
Your One Time Password is a 7-digit password made up of alphabetic and numeric characters. It will be sent to you on your Internet Banking Welcome Letter.
Letters must be input as UPPERCASE, numbers are identified by an underscore.
The one time password is only used once. When the password has been entered correctly, you will be invited to change it to a password of your choice. |
| How do I input my Security Questions? |

When registering for Internet Banking, you will be required to set up three security questions.
Please note that your answers are case-sensitive; if you used upper and lower-case letters when you first answer the security questions, you should continue to type your answers using the same format. |
| How do I input my Passwords? |
 |
| When registering for Internet Banking, you will be required to choose a password. Please note the password must be at least 7 characters, including at least one uppercase alphabetic, one lowercase alphabetic and one numeric character. However, the password must always be input in the same format. |
| What do I do if I have forgotten my Password? |
 |
| If you have forgotten your Internet Banking password, please call the Internet Banking Help Desk on +44 (0) 1481 711102~ For security reasons you will have to re-register for the service. We will arrange for a new One Time Password to be sent to you. This will enable you to re-register for the service. |
| What do I do if my password details are invalid? |
 |
Your Internet Banking password is input in upper or lower case and must be entered in exactly the same format each time you log on to the service.
If you are unable to remember your password or the details are showing as invalid, please call through to the Internet Banking Help Desk on +44 (0) 1481 711102~ We will arrange for a new One Time Password to be sent to you. This will enable you to re-register for the service. |
| What do I do if the answer to my security question is invalid? |

Your answers are case sensitive and must be entered in exactly the same format each time you log on.
If you receive the message "the answer to the security question is incorrect please call IB support for assistance", for security reasons you will be blocked from the Internet Banking service. Please call the Internet Banking Help Desk on
+44 (0) 1481 711102~ to have your access re-set.
Once you regain access to the service, you may wish to visit the Administration section within Internet Banking. This section allows you to change both your Internet Banking password and security answers. |
| What security information do I require when using Internet Banking? |

You will need:
- Your seven digit customer user name
- Your password
- The answer to one of the three security questions you have completed

| Can my password be anything I choose? |
 |
| Yes, the password is entirely of your choice. However, it must be at least 7 characters, including at least one uppercase alphabetic, one lowercase alphabetic and one numeric character and must be input in the same format every time. |
| What are my responsibilities with my password? |
 |
| You must keep your password secret at all times and not divulge it to anyone, including Clydesdale Bank employees. If you believe that someone else knows your password please change it immediately. Our staff will never ask for your Internet Banking password. |
| Where can I find my customer user name? |
 |
Your customer user name is issued in your Internet Banking Welcome letter. If you cannot find this number please call the Internet Banking Help Desk on +44 (0) 1481 711102~ who will arrange for a copy of the customer user name to be posted out to you.
