Working together to make a difference

On 1st February 2008 Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks joined forces to announce the launch of a brand-new charity partnership initiative with Help the Hospices (opens in a new window). Help the Hospices is the hospice movement's national charity supporting over 240 local hospices across the UK.  Hospices provide vital time and care to over 250,000 terminally ill patients and their families every year.

Focusing on one cause

This exciting partnership was launched with a donation of £10,000 from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks and a commitment that all fundraising by employees will be matched pound for pound. For Bank employees, it not only offers the chance to raise funds for Help the Hospices but also for their local hospice.

Help the Hospices – making a real difference

Each year UK hospices need over £400 million just to keep going, making hospice care once of the UK's largest community fundraising causes, which is why our help is essential.
