Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank are regular award-winners in the financial services industry.  Below are some of the awards we’ve won in the last couple of years.

  • For the third year running, Clydesdale Bank was named ‘Best Mortgage Lender in Scotland’ by Your Mortgage magazine, which also named Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank as ‘Best Offset Mortgage Lender’
  • Financial Services Forum Awards for Marketing Effectiveness 2006 (Sept 06)
  • TOPs Prospect Manager awarded Commended for New Product, Service or Innovation
  • PL Modelling awarded Commended for Direct Marketing Campaign
  • Scottish Arts & Business Community Award for Count me in 123 with Dundee City Council October 2006
  • HM Silver Quality Mark for Payroll Giving.  Awarded for over 5% of staff giving through payroll giving - March 2007
  • Underlining advances in customer service, Clydesdale Bank’s contact centre in Clydebank beat 1,000 entrants to be named ‘World Contact Centre of the Year’ at the prestigious Contact Centre World Awards, in Las Vegas
  • Credit Card Awards – Best CSR Programme of the Year November 2006
  • Scotland’s Health and Work Silver level – February 2007 for ECCC 
  • Credit Today – Responsible Lender of the Year Award – April 2007
  • Learning Dept won the UK wide Customer Service Award for training in September 2006
  • P&C (whole Dept) in the UK were winners of an ASA HR Excellence Award in 2007. We received the award of best large HR Dept in Scotland
  • In November, 2007, Yorkshire Bank was named ‘Best Business Bank in the UK’ by the Forum of Private Business. Clydesdale Bank was named ‘Best in Scotland’
  • In April, the Bank was awarded the ASA Human Resources Excellence Award 2007 by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, recognising the bank’s employee development programme
    Establishing flexible working initiatives as well as a mentoring programme for emerging female leaders was recognised by The Times newspaper, which named our UK operations as one of the ‘Top 50 places women want to work’
  • Underlining our commitment to our customers, our pre-delinquency programme was awarded the MasterCard Corporate Social Responsibility Award
  • Top UK mortgage brokers Charcoal and Hamptons independently gave our business ‘Lender of the Year’ status
