Register for Internet Banking

Registration made easy!

When you register for Internet Banking, you will also begin the process for registering for Telephone Banking. Here’s what’s involved:

1: Register for Internet Banking when you apply for your account

We will automatically register you for internet banking when you apply for your account, For assistance, call +44 (0) 1481 711102* (open 9am – 5pm Mon-Fri) and you will be connected to an advisor who will assist you with your registration.

2: We’ll send your user information

We will send you a confirmation letter welcoming you to Internet Banking. For security, your Customer User Name and One Time Password will be sent separately. The letter will also contain any further information you need to complete your registration. Your One Time Password will only be used the first time you login to Internet Banking.

3: Login to Internet Banking for the first time

You will need to have the following information to hand:

  • Your Customer User Name
  • Internet Banking One Time Password
  • Your email address (optional)

You will be asked to choose:

  • Your own unique password
  • Three security questions - to which only you can know the answer, e.g. what is your favourite book?

Please note that your password and security question answers are input case sensitive.

Blind or visually-impaired customers

We understand that every customer has different needs and to help make this process easier, we can provide your registration information in:

  • Large print
  • Audio tape
  • Braille

Deposits with Clydesdale Bank International are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme established in the UK under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, nor are deposits with Clydesdale Bank International covered by any equivalent scheme in any other jurisdiction.
