Executive profile: Steve Reid
Retail Director
Steve joined the Group in 2003 working initially as Head of Personal Financial Services for Clydesdale Bank before becoming responsible for the combined Retail operations of both Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank Brands in December 2004. His role was subsequently extended to include the Wealth Management distribution function.
Prior to joining the Group, Steve worked for The Woolwich and Barclays. He joined the Woolwich as a managment trainee before moving into various managment roles. He then transferred to the Company's IFA (Wealth Management) business where he became a top sales performer. He subsequently held senior sales management roles in both the Retail Banking and IFA business. He also ran all support activities for the Retail Network. He was also instrumental in the transformational change programme following the acquisition of The Woolwich by Barclays.
