Please read the following:

Checklist

To ensure that your Application Form is processed as efficiently as possible and the rate applied for can be made available to you, please follow the checklist below:

  • Ensure that the Application Form is complete and all details are correct.
  • Print off the Application Form and ensure that all parties to the Account sign and date the Application Form.
  • Ensure that there are sufficient Cleared funds to be debited from your account to fully meet the Deposit amount requested. If you are transferring funds from another provider there may be a risk that the rate requested is not available when we process the Application Form. If in any doubt contact your Private Partner direct.
  • Ensure that you retain the copy of Terms and Conditions provided with the Application Form and that you understand their contents.
  • Where you have not been asked to provide identification within the previous 12 months, identification will be required before the Account can be opened. If in any doubt please contact your Private Partner who will advise you on what steps to take.
  • Place the Application Form and any supporting documents in an envelope and address it to your Private Partner at their location. Alternatively you can hand the Application Form into a Branch for onward transmission by post or hand delivery to your Private Partner.
  • Always allow 3 Business Days for the item to be in the post even if sent by 1st class post. A further 2 - 3 days will be required if you are transferring funds from a 3rd party bank or building society. See FAQ’s for more details.

What happens next?

On receipt of your completed Application Form, processing will begin as quickly as possible.

  • You will receive a Certificate within 10 days of the Deposit Commencement Date. The Certificate will detail your full name, account number, the amount, the term, the rate of interest paid, the Commencement and Maturity Dates. No statements of the Account will be sent.
  • If you require a note of the interest credited to your Account, contact your Private Partner.

What happens on maturity?

Approximately 3 weeks prior to the Maturity Date of your Deposit your Private Partner will contact you to discuss your options. In order to deal with your instructions, confirmation will be required at least 3 Business Days prior to the Maturity Date.

  • Should you not provide us with these details prior to the Maturity Date then your Deposit will automatically rollover for the same term as the original Deposit at the interest rate applicable at that time
  • Should you wish to deposit into another Private Internet Term Deposit simply visit the site and select the term required, following the application process as normal. Your Private Partner will be able to assist you in identifying the best option for your needs and guide you through the appropriate application process.
